The colors of this collage at first struck me as a bit unusual, but upon 2nd viewing they are really just complementary colors (red + green) with a bit of aqua, black & white to round things out. Somehow though, that intense yellowish-green in contrast to the black details conjures up those rare spring days when you experience a “sun shower” – everything’s illuminated in a strange way and your mind can’t quite believe it’s raining while the sun shines. It doesn’t seem natural--it appears completely unusual.
